Hengham is now Hingham, Co. Norfolk. DIXON, NICHOLAS. A full account of him in Lincoln Visitation (Canterbury and York Series). He was Preb. of Stow St. Mary in the Church of Lincoln.

DURHAM, WILLIAM DE. There is no foundation for the tradition that he died Archbishop of Rouen.

DYGHTON, WILLIAM DE. Berking is Barking (Suffolk).

ELVET, RICHARD DE. New St. Mary's is the Newarke College in Leicester. He became Preb. in 1390 and Dean in 1396.

HATFIELD, THOMAS. R. of Tarring (Sussex), which he exch. for a Preb. in York, 1343; Warden of St. John's Hosp., Portsmouth, and Canon of Sarum, 1340 (P.R.); possibly the person of these names who was R. of Debden (Essex), and exch. for Aynhoe (Northants), 1336.
