I was in prison, and you came to me. Ver. 36.

Then shall the just answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee; thirsty, and gave thee drink? Ver. 37.

And when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in, or naked and clothed thee? Ver. 38.

Or when did we see thee sick or in prison, and came to thee? Ver. 39.

And the King, answering, shall say to them: Amen say to you, as long as you did it to one of these my least brethren, you did it to me. Ver. 40.

ANGER.

But I say to you, that whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: and whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. St. Matt. v. 22.

Therefore, if thou offerest thy gift at the altar, and there shalt remember that thy brother hath any thing against thee; Ver. 23.

Leave there thy gift before the altar, and first go to be reconciled to thy brother; and then come and offer thy gift. Ver. 24.

Make an agreement with thy adversary quickly, whilst thou art in the way with him; lest perhaps the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Ver. 25.

Amen I say to thee, thou shalt not go out from thence, till thou pay the last farthing. Ver. 26.

Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind. St. Matt. xxii. 37.

This is the greatest and first commandment. Ver.

And the second is like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Ver. 39.

On these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the prophets. Ver. 40.

As you would that men should do to you, do you also to them in like manner. St. Luke vi. 31.

And if you love them that love you, what thanks have you? for sinners also love those that love them. Ver. 32.

And if you do good to them who do good to you, what thanks have you? for sinners also do this. Ver. 33.

And if you lend to them of whom you hope to receive, what thanks have you? for sinners also lend to sinners, for to receive as much. Ver. 34.

But love your enemies; do good and lend; hoping for nothing thereby and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the sons of the Most High: for he is kind to the unthankful, and to the evil. Ver. 35.

A new commandment I give unto you: that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also

love one another.

By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another. Ver. 35.

These things I command you, that you love one another. St. John xv. 17.

Holy Father, keep them in thy name, whom thou hast given me that they may be one, as we also are. St. John xvii. 11.

That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee, that they all may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Ver. 21.

And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them; that they may be one as we also are one. Ver. 22.

For lo, the kingdom of God is within you. St. Luke xvii. 21.

But as many as received him, to them he gave power to be made the sons of God, to them that believe in his name. St. John i. 12.

Yet a little while; and the world seeth me no more. But you see me; because I live, and you shall live. St. John xiv. 19.

In that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Ver. 20.

Jesus answered, and said to him: If any one will love me, he will keep my word; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and will make our abode with him. Ver. 23.

Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine; so neither can you, unless you abide in me. Ver. 4.

I am the vine, you the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing. Ver. 5.

If any one remaineth not in me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither, and they shall gather him up, and cast him into the fire; and he burneth. Ver. 6.

If you

remain in me, and my words remain in you; you shall ask whatever you will, and it shall be done to you.

Ver. 7.

As thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they all may be one in us; St. John xvii. 21.

I in them, and thou in me; that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast also loved me. Ver. 23.

I have made known thy name to them, and will make it known: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.

Go ye, therefore, teach all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. St. Matt. xxviii. 19.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, behold, I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world. Ver. 20.

And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
