Rise, Gr-nv-lle, from thy transient grave,
Return thy native land to save,

Thy well-earn'd honours claim;

Strike All the Blocks with palsied fear,

Anew let All the Talents rear

The clarion voice of Fame.

THE END.

A COMMENTARY

ON ST. PAUL'S EPISTLE TO THE GALATIANS,

BY MARTIN LUTHER;

To which is now added the Life of Luther, and an impartial History of the times in which he lived; by the late Rev. Erasmus Middleton, B. D. Rector of Turvey, Bedfordshire,

"Error chiefly becomes formidable from its concealment, and a detection of falsehood generally dispels its charms.”

The Life prefixed to this masterly production of the great Reformer, will be read with peculiar pleasure and satisfaction at this important crisis, when Catholic Emancipation occupies the mind of the world at large; Mr. Middleton has laboured more than any other Biographer of his day, to mark the progress of the Glorious Reformation, which Luther was ordained by Heaven to accomplish, in opposition to the power and artifice of the Church of Rome. We have reason at this moment to look back to that period as the most important in the annals of the world.

The Portrait of Luther is the best that ever was published, it is accompanied by an ingenious device, emblematical of the Downfall of Popery.
