for the erection of the statue. A special committee has been appointed, and work is now actively proceeding in the task of collecting the amount necessary to ensure the erection of a memorial worthy of the poet and of the rapidly growing cosmopolitan city of Vancouver.

Much missionary work has been done throughout the province during the year by the President and other members of the Fellowship. Assistance has been pledged the Nanaimo Burns Club in their efforts to organise along the lines of the Fellowship during the coming session, and in many other ways assistance is being given. In this way the Executive of the Vancouver Burns Fellowship feel that they are really vindicating their existence and are doing the work expected of them by the Burns Federation.
