The upper room in this picture was his Bachelors' Club Room in Tarbolton. THE MASONIC LODGE-ROOM, WHERE BURNS WAS MASTER, IN TARBOLTON. The house on the left was the Masonic Lodge-room, where Burns was master in Tarbolton. The house on the right is the one in which he learned to dance. He was initiated in St. David's Lodge, but after a time he and other members seceded and established St. James Lodge in this house. |
