SERMON XXIV.—The precise Nature and Force of Christ's Argument,
founded on Exodus iii. 6. against the Sadducees.
Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he
calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the
God of Jacob. For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living :
for all live unto him.—Luke xx. 37, 38.

And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, hath
sent unto me, saying, Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth : come now, curse me them ; peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.
