God accept of the Offer of Pardon, Grace, and Salvation, on the Terms and Conditions proposed in the Gospel. We shall come at the Call of Jesus Chrift, and yield our felves to obey him in all things; for Faith represents these things to the Mind as worthy of belief, on the Testimony of God; we shall therefore rely on the Promises, fear the Threatnings, obey the Commands, and export the Rewards of the Gospel.

Other Senses of the Word Faith, are there 1. The Doctrine of Faith, er things to be believed, Gal. 1. 23. I Tim. I. 19. Jude ver. 3. Perswafion that this or the other thing is, or is not lawful to be done; which is the Sense here. 3. Fidelity or Faithfulness, Mat. 23.23. 4. The Chriftian Covenant, or the Christian Religion, in Opposition to the Mosaical Com venant or Religion, Rom.3.27. Rom 9 32. Gal.3,2,7,9,14,&c. Epb.2.8. Eph. 4. Sos. The outward Profision of the Christian Rel gion without good Works, jam. 2. 14, 17, 18. 6.
