Mr. Marshall appears to have overlooked the fact that there are three copies in the British Museum. A facsimile of one of them, edited by Mr. P. A. Daniel, is included in Dr. Furnivall's Shakspere Quarto Facsimiles.

Mr. P. A. Daniel points out that his opinion with regard to the authorship of Richard III. has been unwittingly misrepresented. The quotation (Literary History, page 10) from his Introduction to the Facsimile of Q. 1 should have been given thus:-" Mr. P. A. Daniel has no doubt that this play was 'not of Shakespeare's original composition, but the work of the author or authors of the Henry VI. series of

plays; Shakespeare's part in this, as in those, being merely that of a reviser or rewriter.'"
