We thank thee, O our God: we praise thee; we bless thee who only doeth wondrous things. Yea, blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and praise be unto our God for ever and ever, for that thou hast redeemed us by thy blood, and called us to be kings and priests unto God, and our Father. Thanks be unto thee for the unspeakable gift of the Holy Ghost, for the means of grace and for the hope of glory. But who shall worthily celebrate thy name? Who shall sufficiently extol thy marvellous works? Though we may well hide our mouths in the dust in thy presence, before whom angels veil their faces, yet vouchsafe graciously to accept our thanksgiving, as for all thy mercies, so now for the enjoyment of another Sabbath day. And, O blessed Lord, let thy Holy Spirit prepare us to be with thee, and to praise and serve thee, through an eternal Sabbath, the rest that remaineth for thy people. We ask this and every blessing for the sake of thy Son, our Saviour and Advocate, Jesus Christ. Amen.
