our offences, may be mercifully relieved by thy grace, and being daily renewed thereby to true repentance and faith, may walk before thee in all godly circumspection and peaceful confidence, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Or this,

O ALMIGHTY God, lift upon our souls the bright beams of thy mercy, that we may be comforted and refreshed in those daily duties, to which in thy good providence thou mayest call us. Let a confident trust in thy never-failing love be so joined with hearty repentance for our sins and misdeeds, that we may neither be cast down into despondency by a sense of our unworthiness, nor lifted up into presumptuousness by the expectation of thy bountiful grace. We ask this for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

DOXOLOGY AND THANKSGIVING.

Unto the Lamb which was slain, and hath redeemed us out of all nations of the earth,

Be glory for ever and ever.

Unto him who died for us once, that we might die unto sin,

Be glory for ever and ever.

Unto him who arose from the grave, and ascended into heaven to prepare a place for us, that where he is, we may be also

Be glory for ever and ever.

Unto him, who will come again, with the Father, and the Holy Ghost,

Be glory for ever and ever.

CONCLUDING COLLECT.

O GOD, who madest all things by thy Son Jesus Christ, and hast redeemed us when fallen from thy image and love, by his most precious blood, grant us by the inspiration of thy Holy Spirit, truly to love thee, and daily to follow after that holiness, without which no man can see thee, through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Or this,

O EVER blessed God and Father, whose will all creatures do, cheerfully or of constraint, grant us grace with ready minds and a free heart, to submit ourselves under thy hand this day, and to glorify thy name by steadfast obedience to all thy holy commandments, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

May grace, mercy, and peace, be with us, and with all the Israel of God, this day and evermore. Amen.
