Any who break any of the Laws in this Book, after being joined in my Covenant, I will take their names out of the Book of Life, and the same shall be sent to all places, where there is a body of people, and entered into another book, to be received no more.

Thou shalt not

(v) When persons have drank so much of any thing, as affects their memories, or speech, so as to faulter, and tell the same over and over, this shall prove them drunk. But this does not mean a regular drinker, but one who may happen to be overcome by drink.

Thy mother, or thy step mother, or thy grand-daughter, or thy daughter-in-law, or thy aunt, or thy sister, or thy half-sister, or thy sister-in-law nor take them for wives, unless thy brother be dead, and has no children; then thou mayest take her, and raise up seed, as Christ alsó raised up a seed for the dead

Those who break any part of this second book, shall not meet till it be proved by the mouths of two or three witnesses that they have repented, and forsaken the evil, and submitted.

Thou shalt worship at the setting of the sun on the sixth day, and the rising of the sun on the first day. (b)

EXPLANATION.

(b) Viz, One hour after the sun has set on Friday night, and one hour after it has risen on Sunday morning; which is the watch hour of thy sabsath, till the sabbath be restored back to the seventh day. Matt. 26 chap. 40th ver. "What, could ye not watch with me one hour? If thou seest the sun set, or rise, that

shall be thy guide, for the beginning of thy sabbath; thou shalt pay no regard to thy time-piece. But thy timepiece shall be thy guide for the ending of thy sabbath, which shall he one hour from the time that thou began.

(c) Which is the Thou shalt fast during the watch hour of thy sabbath hour.

(d) Deut. 14 chap. 11-20 ver. "Of all clean fowls ye may eat, viz. such as live chiefly on grass, or fruit, or herbs. But these are they which ye shall not eat, they and their kinds: The eagle, the ossifrage, the ospray, the glede, the kite, the vulture, the raven, the owl, the cuckoo, the hawk, the swan, the pellican, the cormorant, the stork, the heron, the lapwing, and the bat." Or the magpie, the peacock, or any thing whose chief food is flesh; or fish in the water.
