THE

LAWS

AND

COMMANDS OF GOD,

Eiven by his Spirit to the

PROPHETS.

On the 14th of December, the 12th Month, 1822, the Lord by his
Spirit began to give his Laws and Commnnds, to John Wroe, of Tong,
in the Parish of Birstal, near Bradford; and commanded them to be
written in a book, for the house of Israel to keep; and that whosoever
would not keep them, should not meet with the house of Israel. And he
the Lord, continued giving his Laws and Coinmandments for the
space of ten years, which was up to the end of the year 1832; by little
and little, according to the words of Isaiah, 28th chap. 10th ver.
"Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little."
But at the end of that period, he, John Wroe, said, he was commanded by
the Lord, to call six men together, to read over the Old and New Testa-
ments before him, and for all the Laws given to the Prophets in the Old
Testaments, to be taken out, and placed together, and written in a book.
But the Four Books in the New Testament, which are Matthew, Mark,
Luke, and John, which were uttered by Jesus; those laws which the Four
Books cut out of the former laws, the same he was ordered not to write;
but the laws which were not cut out, the time was come for men to keep
them. And men are commanded to sign to them, both hand and heart,
that the hand-writing may appear against the evil power: to ask for the
fulness of God's Spirit to rest on them, to write them on their hearts and
minds, that they may keep them, as Jesus, the woman's seed, kept them,
that their bodies may be changed into the likeness of his glorious body.
And now he is commanded to have them Printed and Published,
and for this purpose, we the Trustees of the house of Israel, have this
day given them into the hands of the Printers, GEORGE MEREDITH,
and WILLIAM TILLOTSON, that the same may be sold to all, who will
purchase them.

A Communication, given by the Spirit, for the house of Israel.——“ I, JEHOVAH, gave my Law to man at first, that if he kept it he should live, but if he brake he should die in the same day. Yet man brake my Law.

But I, not willing that the second death should reign over his soul, provided a ransom for him, in the seed of the woman, who should be born at the end of the fourth day, which is the fourth thousand years, and give his blood for the ransom of the souls of all the world.

And till the time of the fourth day should come, I gave another Law, but they brake it also; but I, still being merciful, and that I might not destroy the whole human race, I appointed them to sacrifice unto me their first-born sons, as shadows of the woman's seed; but permitted their sons to be redeemed with rams, till the appointed time that the woman's seed should come; yet they lived not a day, which is a thousand years. But if they confessed their sins, and sacrificed unto me the blood of the beasts which I had commanded them, I preserved their souls, so that the second death had no power over them.

Heb. 9 chap. 7 ver "Into the second (place) went the High Priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people,"

And at the appointed time, I brought forth the woman's seed, according to my promise, and rested upon it, and fulfilled the Laws of the Old Testament; and gave the Laws of the Gospel, that within the sixth day they should become one, and he that obeyed them his soul and body should live. And by the woman's seed I opened the eyes of the blind, and the ears of the deaf; cleansed the lepers, and raised the dead, and put an end to offerings of beasts, by offering him. He offered no sacrifice for himself, but his blood, for the errors of the people, and to raise up seed for the dead, that their corruptible bodies might receive incorruptible bodies. For I no more desired sacrifice, nor delighted in burnt offering; that they might no longer mock me by hiding their sins when they ate of the sacrifice. (Isaiah, 66 chap. 3 ver.) But that he that killed an ox should be as though he slew a man; and he that sacrificed a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; and he that offered an oblation as if he offered swine's blood. So those who still continued offering of their sacrifices I gave up, as I said to Micah. 5 chap. 3 ver. "Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel."

And I shewed Paul, in Romans, 11 chap. 24 ver. That blindness in part had happened to Israel, till the fulness of the Gentiles should come in. So all that are Israel shall be saved.

But whosoever believed on him, I forgave all their sins without offering the blood of beasts; but his blood once offered, shoull be for the ransom of their souls.

And I said by him in Mark, 3 chap. 28 and 29 ver. "All manner of sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies, wherewithsoever they shall blaspheme; but, he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation."

And I said in 1st Samuel, 2 chap. 25 ver. "If one man sin against another the judge shall judge him ; but if a man sin against the Lord who shall intreat for him."

John, 8 chap. 3-11 vers. "And the Scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery, in the very act; and they said unto him, Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned, but what sayest thou? He said unto them, He that is without sin let him first cast a stone at her; and they being convicted by their own consciences, went out one by one. And he said unto her, Woman, where are thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. He said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee, Go and sin no more." But they not having the fulness of my Spirit, sinned again, so I appointed them to confess to their sins, to offer unto me bread and wine, as a likeness of the offering of his blood being renewed, which if they continued to do, though their bodies died and became corruptible, at the appointed time, they should receive incorruptible bodies, as the angels. Hebrews, 4 chap. 8 ver. "For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterwards have spoken of another day." Matt. 8 chap. 29 ver. Those that were possessed with devils cried out, "Jesus, thou Son of God, Art thou come hither to torment us before the time."

But whosoever shall now sign for Satan's destruction, and for my Kingdom to be established within them, (Ezekiel, 20 chap. 37 ver.) and are willing to pass under the rod, and to be brought into the bond of my covenant, and ask for the fulness of my Spirit always to rest on them, as it rested on the woman's seed Jesus, though they have been sorcerers, adulterers, murderers, idolaters, and workers of all kinds of wickedness, their sins shall be forgiven, as the thief on the cross, or the harlot, and buried in the deep, and remembered no more; for he that has my Spirit will forsake them.

John, 14 chap. 2 & 3 verses. "I go to prepare a place for you And I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also."

17 chap. 15 ver. For "I pray not that thou shouldest

take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.”

Exodus, 23 chap. 20 and 21 ver. "Behold I send an angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice; provoke him not, for he will not pardon your transgressions, for my name is in hitn."

Daniel, 12 chap. 1 ver. "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince, which standeth for the children of thy people.

The angel which I promised by Moses, was my Spirit, that rested upon the woman's seed, Jesus, and was also the other Comforter, the Spirit of truth, which he promised he would send, to rest upon you, and to bring all things to your rememberance which he had said unto you,

John, 14 chap. 3 ver. "I will pray the Father and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive."

Exodus, 23 chap. 22 ver. "But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak. then will I be an enemy to thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread and thy water, and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."

(Isaiah, 11 chap. 11 ver.) As I caused Jesus, who was the root of Jesse, to stand an ensign to the Gentiles, and they sought to him, and their rest was glorious: so now have 1 set my hand again the second time, to recover the remnant of my people Israel; and my Spirit shall stand as an ensign for them, to finish the works of my hands.

(2 Peter, 1 chap, 19 ver.) And I have given you a more sure word of prophecy, whereunto ye shall do well if ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise in your hearts. The life of the Law.

Viz..

And they shall fulfil my Law, and the righteousness thereof, and will not need any other sacrifice, or likeness thereof, as a renewal of the sacrifice of the woman's seed. For I delight not to be mocked with sacrifices, of either animals or the blood of animals, or bread, or wine, either by Hebrew or Gentile. For I will fulfil the words which I caused to be written by David.

51st Psalm, 16 and 17 verses." For thou desirest not sacrifice, else would I give it: thou delightest not in burntoffering. The sacrifices of God, are a broken spirit: a bro. ken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise."

And those that still go on taking the sacrament of bread and wine, after they have joined this covenant, shall be given up as the Hebrews were.

For Jesus, the woman's seed, kept the laws of the Old Testament, and then laid down his body, by giving the life of the old world, which is the blood; and my Spirit which abode on him while he fulfilled the law, then returned, and raised it up out of the sepulchre, and became the life of it, which gave them a proof that the laws were given of me. That afterwards the seed of man, who should ask for my Spirit, and receive it, and should keep them as he did, who should be called the house of Israel, the bride; that their bodies should be redeemed without giving the blood, but it should be made flesh; which fulfils the words which I spake by Jesus, in John, 14 chap. 12 ver. "He that believeth on me, Greater works than these shall he do." He shall be changed into the image of me, in the twinkling of an eye. Their bodies shall not die, nor see corruption, but the body of the woman's seed once offer ed, shall stand for their bodies, and they shall be made both earthly and heavenly; their bodies becoming his body, I being the life of them, immortal; the man and the woman, and him, being three persons, and the life of them one God.

John, 10 chap. 34 ver. "Jesus said Is it not written in your laws, I said, Ye are gods." For ye live by the blood, and are fallen from the life of me; but the body of the woman's seed, was given that ye might have life eternal.

(Genesis, 49 chap. 10 ver.) The promise of the sceptre was unto Judah, but they obtained not, but the temporal sceptre; for they refused him who would have given them the spiritual sceptre; for he said, The flesh profited them nothing, unless it was quickened by the Spirit; and when they had put him to death, by the temporal sceptre, he fulfilled his own words, his flesh had profited them nothing, unless it had been quickened.
