Norman A. Paradis is an emergency physician currently on the faculty at the University of Southern California, and Chief Medical Officer of ZOLL Circulation in Sunnyvale, California. Most of his career has been dedicated to the study of cardiac arrest, shock and molecular diagnostics, both in university settings and in startup companies. He edits the standard medical textbook in resuscitation medicine. In the past, he has been a professor at the University of Colorado, Virginia Commonwealth University, Columbia University and NYU. At Colorado, Dr Paradis was the hospital's Senior Medical director and a Professor of Surgery and Medicine. He trained at Henry Ford Hospital, Los Angeles County USC Medical Center and Northwestern University.

Henry Halperin is Professor of Medicine and Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore.

Karl Kern is Professor of Medicine at the Sarver Heart Center, University of Arizona.

Volker Wenzel is Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology of Innsbruck Medical University, Innsbruck, Austria.

Douglas Chamberlain is Honorary Professor of Resuscitation Medicine at the School of Medicine, Cardiff University, Wales and Visiting Professor of Cardiology at the University of Brighton, Sussex.
