He, his father, and three brothers served in the Revolutionary War from Rupert, Vermont. He and his wife, Martha Cochran had at least ten children. In 1789, the family moved to Albany (later Saratoga) County, New York. Josiah died in Ballston Springs, Saratoga County, New York in 1830. Descendants lived in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, California, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Nebraska, Montana and elsewhere. |
