14 ¶ Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. 17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: 19 And Peleg lived after he begat Ren two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.

25 begat Eber. And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was 2 Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his 26 brother's name was Joktan. And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and 27 Jerah; and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah; 28 and 8Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba; and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were 30 the sons of Joktan. And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest toward Sephar, the 31 4 mountain of the east. These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations. These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and of these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

21 And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.

11 And the whole earth was of one language 2 and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they 4 for mortar. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city, and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven, and let us make us a name; lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the 5 whole earth. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of 6 men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language; and this is what they begin to do: and now nothing will be withholden from them, which they purpose to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may 8 not understand one another's speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to 9 build the city. Therefore was the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there 9 confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

And Reu lived two and thirty years, and 21 begat Serug: and Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.

22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Na23 hor: and Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
