MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE

OF THE COUNCIL.

CENTRAL HALL, DERBY, 10TH SEPTEMBER, 1927.

The Annual Conference of the Council of the Burns Federation was held here to-day at 10 a.m.

The President, Sir Robert Bruce, LL.D., occupied the chair, and with him on the platform were Sir Joseph Dobbie; Sir Robert Blair; Mr. Thomas Amos, Hon. Secretary; Major George A. Innes, Hon. Treasurer; Mr. J. C. Ewing, Editor of the Burns Chronicle; Mr. A. G. Andrew, Hon. Secretary of School Children's Competitions; Col. J. G. Roberton; Capt. Charles Carmichael; Dr. Joseph Hunter; Messrs. Hugh M'Lean, Albert Douglas (Washington, U.S.A.), Philip Sulley, James Thomson, Thomas Killin, J. G. S. Sproll, and A. L. Brown.
