and Portsmouth beyond the amounts set forth
in the Act 28 and 29 Vic. c. 51, and what
variations, if any, have been made or or-
dered from the works described in the said
Act; also, whether the works included in
the contracts made by authority of that Act,
and laid before Parliament, are being exe-
cuted in accordance with the drawings at-
tached to such contracts, and as to the
authority under which alterations have been
made, and what has been or will be the
effect on the cost of the works by such altera-
tions; also, into the circumstances which
have led to the disposal of Deptford Dock-
yard for an amount so much below the
value thereof stated in the Stock Valuation
