CURRICULUM.

The following course of study is suggested as a good one for the average student in Arts :

First Session-First Humanity, First Greek, First Mathematics. Second Session - Second Humanity, Second Greek, Second Mathematics.

Third Session-Logic, Natural Philosophy.

Fourth Session-Moral Philosophy and Political Economy, and English Literature.

The above course of study may be adapted to a three years' course, by omitting the classes of the First Session.

By following the above course the student completes the attendance required in Classics, Mathematics, and Mental Philosophy, at the end of his second, third, and fourth sessions respectively, and may immediately proceed to the respective departmental examination.

Where the above course is not wholly adopted, it is recommended :

(1.) That in a four years' course the Junior Classes of Humanity, Greek, and Mathematics, or any two of them, be attended in the First Session.

(2.) That Natural Philosophy be taken not before but immediately subsequent to the completion of the qualifying courses of Mathematics.

(3.) That Logic be attended not before the Third Session in a four years' course, but at all events in a session preceding that in which Moral Philosophy is attended.

Tutorial Classes in Greek and Mathematics are provided for those who are found to require them.
