WHEREAS, under the provisions of Article 95 of "The Africa Order in Council, 1889,"* Her Majesty's Commissioner and ConsulGeneral for the territories under British influence to the north of the Zambezi may frame rules for the purposes therein mentioned, and, under the provisions of Article 96 of the said Order, such rules may be made for fixing and enforcing the fees to be taken in respect of any proceedings under the said Order: Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said provisions, I, Alfred Sharpe, Her Majesty's Commissioner and Consul-General for the territories aforesaid, hereby direct, with the approval of Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, and with the sanction of the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, that the Table of Fees aunexed hereto shall be substituted, as regards all proceedings commenced after the date of the publication of this Rule, for the Table of Fees annexed to the Rule of this * Vol. LXXXI, page 301.
