accept of the Offer of Pardon, Grace, and Salvation, on the Terms and Conditions propofed in the Gofpel. We fhall come at the Call of Jefus Chrift, and yield our felves to obey him in all things; for Faith reprefents thefe things to the Mind as worthy of belief, on the Teftimony of God; we fhall therefore rely on the Promifes, fear the Threatnings, bey the Commands, and exp the Rewards of the Gospel.

Other Senfes of the Word Faith, are thefe, 1. The Doctrine of Faith, 2. A or things to be believed, Gal. 1. 23. 1 Tim. 1. 19. Jude ver. 3. Perfwafion that this or the other thing is, or is not lawful to be done; which is the Senfe here. 3. Fidelity or Faithfulness, Mat. 23. 23. 4. The Chriftian Covenant, or the Chriftian Religion, in Oppofition to the Mofaical Covenant or Religion, Rom.3.27. Rom 932. Gal.3,2,7,9,14,&c. Epb.2.8. Eph. 4. 55.
